ITD stands for Instrumentation and Telematics Development. We supply and install the instruments that measure the weather, and we build the software that turns their output into something an operations team can act on.
The short version
One team across the whole chain
A weather station is not a product, it is a chain: sensor, datalogger, power, communications, database, dashboard, and finally the person who has to decide something. Most projects come unstuck in the joins between those links, not inside them.
We work across all of it. That means when a reading looks wrong, there is one number to call and nobody to point at.
- Hardware Station supply, lightning detection, dataloggers, enclosures, power and communications, installed and commissioned.
- Software Live dashboards, alerting, reporting, integration with the systems you already run.
- Support Calibration, servicing, fault-finding and the changes a network needs as it grows.
How we think
Field-first, not specification-first
Weather is an unforgiving test environment, which is useful. The quickest way to find a wrong assumption is to expose equipment to the actual conditions.
Specified for the site
Equipment chosen for where it is going, not for what is easiest to order. A coastal site, a high-altitude site and a dusty mine site are three different problems.
Proven before it scales
One representative station, running end to end, before a rollout is committed. Reversible decisions while we are still learning.
Built to be maintained
Diagnostics, commissioning checklists and a clear support route. A system nobody can maintain is a liability with a warranty.
