Satellite Trackers for Livestock

Rugged GPS and GNSS satellite tracking units for livestock on large farms and conservancies. Because they uplink over a satellite data network, they keep reporting in areas with no cellular coverage, giving real time herd location, geofencing alerts and movement analysis across the whole property.

How it works

Each unit fixes its position from the satellite navigation constellations, then sends compact position reports over a satellite data link on a schedule that balances update rate against battery life. Positions flow to a dashboard where you can see current location, define geofences and review movement patterns and alerts.

Key features

[ Positioning ]GPS and GNSS position fixes for accurate location across large areas.
[ Uplink ]Satellite data uplink that works where there is no cellular coverage.
[ Battery ]Long life battery management with configurable reporting intervals.
[ Enclosure ]Rugged, weatherproof enclosure and collar or ear-tag mounting options.
[ Software ]Real time herd location, geofencing alerts and movement and grazing analysis.

Applications

Extensive farmingCattle and small stock on large farms and rangeland with patchy or no cellular coverage.
ConservanciesHerd and high-value animal location and anti-theft monitoring.
Grazing managementMovement and grazing pattern analysis to manage pastures.
